Model Based Parameter Identification is a toolbox designed to estimate the parameters of a system modeled either in PSpice or Simulink. When several experiments are performed and are modeled the parameters to estimate can be treated as unknowns to be optimized.
MBPI is composed of several tools to help simplify the handling of experimental and simulation data. The tools included in the set are:
Data picker: Lets you trace image graphs and obtain data points in a text format readable by MBPI.
Data Wizard: The experimental data as well as simulation files and parameters to estimate can be selected trough the wizard provided and generate a configuration file for the Parameter Optimizer.
Parameter Optimizer: The configuration file generated is used in this tool to estimate the parameters systems modeled in PSpice or Simulink.

All the tools provided come with a GUI and you can learn the basics reading the help or more easily with the videos. If you have any doubt feel free to post it in the discussion board or contact us.
Example files
An example ready to be used in MBPI can be found here. It contains a RL circuit where the resistor and inductor are estimated. Models are provided both for Simulink and PSpice.
