An indispensable device for high power electronic applications is the IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor). Readily available physics-based IGBT models are NOW at your disposal. They can be easily implemented in circuit simulators, such as PSpice. Try yourself here.

The parameter extraction is done by means of a Matlab-PSpice optimization tool, the MBPI (Model Based Parameter Identification) which you can find here. It is a user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) that you can use on your own.

Let´s share our IGBT models for a more standardized work!

It is now your chance to upload your own IGBT models and share with us your opinions. In this website you have access to a Forum to discuss your ideas and you can post your findings in the Wiki to extend the knowledge about IGBTs.
