An indispensable device for high power electronic applications is the IGBT (Insulated-Gate Bipolar Transistor). Readily available physics-based IGBT models are NOW at your disposal. They can be easily implemented in circuit simulators, such as PSpice. Try yourself here. The parameter extraction is done by means of a Matlab-PSpice optimization tool, the MBPI (Model Based Parameter Identification) which you can find here. It is a user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) that you can use on your own.
It is now your chance to upload your own IGBT models and share with us your opinions. In this website you have access to a Forum to discuss your ideas and you can post your findings in the Wiki to extend the knowledge about IGBTs.
